Hearing Loop

Ascension has a Hearing Loop in our worship and meeting spaces. A T-coil hearing loop is an assistive listening device that picks up audio signals from a microphone and transmits them directly to a hearing aid. It uses a wire loop around the room to send the sound waves directly to the person's hearing aid, providing a clearer, amplified sound. We provide listening devices for those who need them but some Hearing Aids have a built in T-Coil.

Mobility

The church is committed to being wheelchair accessible and providing a warm, welcoming environment for all. The building itself is designed to be barrier-free and the congregation is welcoming to those of all abilities. Elevators ensure that everyone can access all areas of the church. There are also designated seating areas in the "transept" that is closer to the bathroom and extra space for wheelchairs. Ascension has accessible parking spaces for those who need them. The church works hard to ensure that everyone can participate fully in church services and activities, regardless of their physical abilities.
