During the month of June, for four days, over 125 children ages birth to 12 years gather together at Church of the Ascension to participate in learning about the love of God.  Each year our VBS program is based on a different theme or curriculum from which our children participate in many activities like making crafts, learning cool Bible songs, playing team-building games, and eating tasty treats.

The activities of our VBS program are all designed to help faith flow into real life, and to deepen the relationship that each child has with God.  Participants in our VBS program come from many different backgrounds and areas including neighborhoods surrounding the Ascension, other area churches, and the local community in general.  Our fun filled week concludes with a dinner and slide show for participants and their families.
