Kids' Worship (during the 10:30am service; children leave after the collect and return in time for the Eucharist)

Ascension's Kids' Worship program intends to provide a sacred space for our children where they can learn, worship, and grow together on Sunday mornings.  Kid's Worship is intended for children ages 4 through early grade school.  At the beginning of Ascension's 10:30 Sunday service, children enter church with their parents, then follow the Children's Cross to the Kids' Worship room to hear a Bible story, pray together, and respond to the day's lesson through a craft, activity, or discussion.  The church calendar is observed during this time and serves as a guide for themes and activities.  Special lessons are also offered periodically, including regularly scheduled "Craft Sunday," visits from clergy and parishioner/guest storyreaders, and bible-story skits performed by the Middle School Sunday School class.  This is a great experience for all involved, and we would love to have your children join us!
