Sunday School: (9am-10:15am)

Ascension's Middle School Sunday school program (Grades 7-8) will use Akaloo this year as well.  In 7th and 8th grade, Akaloo places a strong emphasis on service learning, and on questions and lively discussion. How do we, as Christians, learn how to be Christ's disciples in the world...what should we be doing? We ask lots of questions of each other, and we wrestle with some of the answers.  Come join us!

Ascension's High school Sunday school program (Grades 9-12) uses a rotating curriculum designed to highlight 3 important aspects of our Christian heritage, Scripture, Prayer, and Fellowship.  Rotating on a 3 week cycle, our High school class meets for Bible study, learns and practices different forms of prayer, and regularly invites adult parishioners and guests in to share their faith stories with the class.  This is a relaxed program designed to fit the needs and interests of our young people, while also exposing them to the richness of our tradition and community.  All are welcome!
